Meet the PTA Board

ROBERT TINOCO - President
My name is Roberto Tinoco. I am your 2024-2025 Stowers PTA President. I have worked for the Los Angeles County Probation Department for over 15 years. Prior to my career with justice involved youth I worked as Senior Program Director for a local YMCA. I have been with Stowers for the last 9 years.  I have 3 children, one 3rd grader, a 5th grader and an 8th grader at Ross Middle School. I have been a part of the Stowers PTA for the last 4 years as a board member. I enjoy volunteering my time at Stowers and truly believe in the old saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”. I started off volunteering my time helping out with set up and take downs of events. Now, flash forward to the present and you can catch me doing a little bit of everything. I enjoy meeting new families and building a strong prosocial environment for our children to enjoy. I hope to meet you soon and incite any interests you may have in volunteering with your Stowers PTA family.

MYRA RIOS - Secretary

Hello, I am a parent to a fifth grader and a second grader. I decided to join the PTA two years ago and this will be my second year as Secretary. I have enjoyed being envolved with decisions that affect our children and their teachers experience. Being part of the PTA has been a positive experience and I look forward to this upcoming school year!

TRACY DUMPIT - Vice President - Ways and Means
Hello Stowers families! My name is Tracy Dumpit and I am the proud mother of Noah (5th grade) and Donovan (2nd grade). While I have been a member of the PTA since my oldest was in Kindergarten, this is my first year serving on the board. I always enjoyed the times I volunteered and wanted to become more involved. I believe my experience fundraising for MOMS Club of Cerritos and Frontier Baseball will be beneficial as I serve as the 1st VP - Ways and Means. In addition to my mom duties and volunteering my time with my children’s sports leagues and multiple nonprofits, I work for the City of La Palma as a teacher in the Tiny Tots program. I also love to spend my time reading, getting crafty, and going to concerts. Hope to see you at some of our events!

I’m Jose Ramirez proud Stowers Dad and 4th VP Hospitality. In my last year as a PTA board member, I plan to finish out the school year with the same passion and enthusiasm as when I first joined. Being part of the Stowers PTA has been a fulfilling experience. Seeing the joy in our kids as they participate in our events puts everything in perspective. The hard work and dedication from all volunteers and PTA members has been truly amazing to witness. I am humbled, honored and grateful for the time that I have been part of the PTA family. NIKIA PAIGE - Volunteer Coordinator
I’m Nikia Paige, your volunteer coordinator. Please sign up to volunteer for the PTA events to benefit the children of Stowers! I have two Stowers Snow Leopards of my own,  Ahad (6th grade) and Zahir (3rd grade). I’ve volunteered with the PTA on numerous committees, I’ve also been a room parent and this is my first year as the Volunteer Coordinator. You may see me a lot around campus as I also an employee. When I’m not at Stowers, you can find me at my sons after school sporting events and extra curricular activities. My love for volunteering has grown outside of school and into the Community as well, I am one of the founders and Vice President of a youth football and cheer program in the Harbor/South Bay Area. I’ve had a passion for volunteering since my oldest son Ahad entered Kindergarten. I began volunteering in the classroom and quickly volunteered to participate for the PTAs Trunk or Treat event, which is still one of my favorite events here at Stowers. I enjoy being surrounded by positive people who want to make a difference here at school, my goal is to help make the school year as exciting and fun as possible. I’m looking forward to seeing you all this 2024-2025 school year. “Volunteers may not necessarily have all the time; they just have the heart”

DAYNA EJERCITO - Yearbook Coordinator
Hi! My name is Dayna and this is my 2nd year as the PTA Yearbook Coordinator. My 2 sons have been attending Stowers since Kindergarten. Jonathan is in 4th grade and Landan is in 3rd grade. I joined the PTA because I wanted to put my suggestions into action. We all want the best for our children and the best way to do that is by leading by example.  In addition to the PTA, I do have a full time job.  It is hard to manage both, but when you do it for your children, it makes it all worth it. Our children are growing too fast and what better way to be involved in their developmental years by creating a good foundation through the PTA. I felt my talents would be best to help with Yearbook because I’ve had experience with Yearbook in Elementary and High School as a Group Leader in which I enjoyed very much. The Yearbook Committees’ goal is to capture priceless memories of all students throughout their school year here at Stowers.  We are excited for the 2024-2025 school year and look forward to seeing you attend and/or volunteer at our PTA events.
